Building Trades/Construction Technology Instructor
2024-2025 School year; 186 contract days, 100% FTE
Location: Mandan High School
Salary: Starting $53,800 for Bachelors degree; starting $55,322 for Master's degree. Full benefit package included.
Position Summary:

Provides instruction in the selected areas of Technology and Engineering Education to ensure that students demonstrate appropriate mastery of standards, gain knowledge and skills essential to the industry, and are prepared for related career and post-secondary opportunities. Instruction on how to use tools, machinery, and materials properly and safety. Knowledge of project-based instruction of engineering concepts in fields such as manufacturing, construction, communication, power, energy, and transportation technologies. Knowledge of or experience with AutoCAD.

Qualifications:
- Must hold appropriate license from the ND Education Standards and Practices Board OR:
- Minimum of 4 years (8,000 hours) of work experience in a construction related field. An associates degree in related field may substitute up to 4,000 hours.
- Applicant must have or be eligible for North Dakota teaching license or must have or be eligible to be certified by the Department of Career and Technical Education in the area for Technology and Engineering Education. CTE certification must be achieved within two years. Alternative licensure is possible.
